Notes from Nate: In New Zealand
We are blessed to be with Chad and Diane Davenport and Dan Blanton here in New Zealand. We arrived early Wednesday morning and I am writing this only 48 hours later (on Friday morning). After an extremely long flight (uneventful for the most part), and two days of continuous activity we are doing well. We are staying with Dan at his house, but Chad and Diane live less than two blocks away!
Highlights so far include:
Meeting with Chad, Diane & Dan and talking ministry
Meeting with Stephan and Katryn who are on their leadership team and work with the youth and other ministries.
Hiking to the top of a mountain in Auckland and praying for the city
Going to beautiful gardens & a cultural museum for insights into the culture here.
Administering analysis tests for use in our first leadership seminar on Sunday morning.
Meeting today with Chad to discuss various strategies for ministry and carefully planning the rest of our stay here.
Getting ready for the Ordination service which will be held Sunday at 4:30 p.m. during their regular worship hour (they share a church building with another church, thus their activities begin at 4:30 on Sunday's.)
Just enjoying the immense beauty here and catching the vision for ministry here in N.Z.!

on a 42 ft. sailboat around New Zealand Harbor with some Christian sailors
and Pastor Dan (he's quite the seasoned crew man). Last night we met
with 9 of the leaders here for a leadership training session. It was a
wonderful time. We have had a marvelous time of relaxing as well as intential
training and so forth. We look forward to the parenting seminar this
Saturday and Sunday. We hope to send some pictures soon.

Blessings the Chenoweths
presenting in two parts this Saturday and Sunday. We are excited
and ready to be used of God in this way.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to be here in New Zealand with the
Davenports and Dan. We just spend an amazing 4 days Tues-Fri with Chad
and Dan touring various parts of the North Island. We had a wonderful
sunrise service on the beach and felt the presence of God in a very real way.
We have so much to tell you about our trip, that we would like to schedule
a "travelogue" of sorts for an evening when any of you who would like to,
could come and hear about our trip and see some of the many pictures
we've taken.
Today (Sunday) we are having various meetings throughout the day with
the leadership in the church and of course the service at 4:30 p.m. today.
Nate will be preaching. Tomorrow we will be coming home (Monday, to you
all) - we leave at 6 p.m. Monday, New Zealand time and return at 9:00 p.m.
Atlanta time - somewhere we gain back the day we lost on our way over.
Thank you, church, for allowing us to be gone - this trip has been a great
blessings to us. For the opportunity to minister and to be ministered to,
has truly been our great blessings. We are excited upon our return to
resume our ministry with you, our church family. Thank you to the staff
and leadership who have held fast during our absence. Thank you for your
prayers for us.

Great Worship - great fellowship - we can't wait to tell you more!
Please pray for us as we travel, we leave in about 6 hours.
